Post topic: The Dangers of Diet Soda

According to new research, your risk of gaining weight and developing diabetes increases if you partake in one soft drink per day, regardless of whether it is a regular soda or a diet soda. The Boston University study tracked the health of 6,000 middle-aged Americans over a four-year period and found that people who drank one soda a day were more likely to become unhealthy and get fat. Both groups of soda drinkers, diet versus regular, had the same increases 31-percent chance of becoming obese. Both groups also had a 44-percent higher chance of developing risk factors for diabetes and heart disease.

Now I heard that a study showed how diet drinks can actually keep weight on people - they think they can splurge because of the 0 calories for the soda!! Something to think about!! Sissy
