Is it true that cigarette smoking is the major reason to get emphysema? If that's the case, you have to wonder why people keep on smoking. I think those television ads that show people completely dependent on oxygen tanks to breathe are pretty convincing too!

I don't know for sure - I'm not a doctor - but it sure seems like people who smoke cigarettes, or who used to smoke, are the ones that carry around the oxygen tanks now because of emphysema

I guess I really do need to quit then... I don't think the oxygen tank will coordinate well with my outfits... if I can't quit for my health, then maybe my vanity will convince me. I think the truly convincing commercials are the ones with the trachiatomy patients...
