Post topic: Prescription Reimbursement

I am covered, currently, by my Americorps insurance... provided by Summit America Insurace/Corp Network. I have to pay out of pocket for the medicine which I submit a claim for to get reimbursed 80%.

Now, discount card programs say that I can't be covered by insurance, but for purposes I usually say I don't have any (because before volunteering, I had none; and when I'm done it will terminate). The one I'm currently considering is Together Rx. They say that I can't have any prescription drug coverage, but I can't afford to buy them to get reimbursed.

The up-front costs of buying my prescriptions is very expensive, considering that I'm only getting a modest Americorps salary, so any little bit helps and I don't get reimbursed until I submit the claim. I'd like to use a discount card so I won't have to wait and save money for some of the expensive meds... but am I allowed to?
