It's hard to stay fit once you reach 'a certain age' - I just don't have the energy I used to have, and especially in the winter, I don't really feel like going outside to walk in the cold.. I try to keep active, but I know I should be doing more. Does anyone have any hints to keep motivated to exercise? I'm in my late 50s.

perhaps trying to work out to an exercise video.. I've used Sweating to the Oldies before where you exercise to the oldies music.. if you would like to get outside, see if you can find a partner, friend or someone to go out and walk with you that way you can visit while you work out and it won't seem so boring.. it would help you and your friend.

I sometimes have trouble motivating myself. Always something to do and when I get time to relax I dont want to exercise. I think it is a change in focus!! Sissy

I bought a NordicTrac about 10 years ago. It's a cross-country skiing machine that really gives me a workout! I love it, and it really does help me keep in shape.
