Post topic: Does Echinacea Really Work?

For years now, researchers have heatedly debated the merits of an herb called echinacea as a remedy for the common cold. A new review that examined over 700 echinacea studies claims that the herb really does help people fight colds, as well as prevent catching them in the first place. Analysis of the research studies found that people are 58 percent less likely to catch a cold of they take echinacea. It can also significantly reduce the duration of colds. The review's author believes that echinacea may work on only some of the 200 different strains of cold virus.

I think it does. I have a friend who swears it helped her when she was undergoing cancer treatment. And other friends say that it really knocks out a cold!
